Just like that, another season has come and gone for Celtic. They finished with a double and narrowly lost out on another treble. Overall, it was a positive campaign, but there is room for further improvement. That starts very soon, not only with the summer transfer window but the pre-season campaign as well.

Pre-season is when the real improvements are made and the foundations of success are laid. With how tight the schedule is for clubs like Celtic, there is no time to do much other than iron out a few issues here and there.

Celtic's 2025 summer pre-season campaign is starting to take shape. And it looks like two more matches are set to be announced in the near future.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Celtic will take on Como and Ajax in a summer tournament in Italy. The Italian club will be hosting matches in July and the Scottish champions have accepted an invitation to take part.

We also know of a few other games on Celtic's pre-season calendar this summer. They are set to play Cork and Newcastle United. A friendly against Sporting Lisbon in Portugal is also expected to take place.

Thus, there are some big friendly games to look ahead for Celtic. Of course, there is not much that needs to be said about Ajax and their history.

Como have enjoyed quite a bit of success in recent times as well and are proving to be one of the most ambitious clubs in Italy right now. Right now after making it to the Serie A, they were able to finish in 10th this season, thanks to smart recruiting in the summer as well as good work from Cesc Fabregas and the players. It will be a joy to face them.
