A lot of Celtic fans already have their eyes set on the upcoming January transfer window. They are looking forward to how the club react to the supporters' clear and vocal dissatisfaction in recent weeks, after how the summer turned out for them. Of course, there has not been a ton in the name of communication since then.

But if Celtic can make some quality additions in the January transfer window, then that could help settle the matter to a certain degree. For now though, the club are still finding suitable destinations for some of their current talents, as they continue to head out on loan and on a permanent basis.

Another of the Hoops' youngsters is headed to the second division to gain some experience. As reported by the club's official account, Sean McArdle has joined Scottish Championship side Partick Thistle on loan until the end of the season.

McArdle is a highly-regarded talent. But it is clear that first-team chances are not going to come by easily, so heading out on loan seems to be the right step for him at this point in his career.

McArdle is 18 years of age and plays as a midfielder. Now, it remains to be seen how things turn out for him in the Championship with Partick Thistle.

Interestingly, Patrick Thistle are managed by former Celtic man, Mark Wilson. One can only hope that he will give enough chances to McArdle to develop his game further.

It is worth pointing out that Celtic have had a tough time when it comes to bringing through their academy talents into the senior team. There has been some hope lately though, with Colby Donovan getting his fair share of chances and showing that he can compete at the first-team level.
