Celtic fans do not have a lot to be happy about at this point in time, that is for sure. The mood around the club has been somewhat strange since the defeat at the hands of Dundee FC at the weekend which left them five points behind Hearts, going into their game against Derek McInnes' side. It is safe to say that this is the not ideal situation to be in if you are the Hoops.
To be very honest, a large section of the fanbase seems deflated at the moment. And now, it remains to be seen if the Hoops can turn it around and get them back on board.
A win against Sturm Graz, followed by another one at the weekend against Hearts will do that. It is easier said than done though, especially when you look at the performances that this team has been putting in lately.
No matchup seems easy for them at the moment. And those are two teams in good form. On the other hand, there is some transfer news for Celtic as well.
Celtic announce 22-year-old has joined Scottish Premiership side
Celtic have announced on the club's official account that Tobi Oluwayemi has joined Kilmarnock. He leaves on an emergency loan.
There was a ton of excitement around Oluwayemi when he joined the club back in 2019. Many thought that he was going to be the starting goalkeeper one day.
He had been part of the Tottenham Hotspur youth setup and was highly regarded. But unfortunately, things have not gone as expected.
The only football that Oluwayemi has gotten during his time at Celtic Park is while out on loan. And it is safe to say that moves like these will not help the youngster's long-term development. He is now 22 years of age and needs something more solid.
