Celtic are heading towards one of the most important games of their 24/25 season as they will welcome Swiss side, BSC Young Boys, to Parkhead this midweek. Their qualification to the next phase of the Champions League could end up depending on the result of this game. So, it goes without saying that the Hoops need to bring their A-game on the night because the fans surely will.

Some of Celtic's recent performances have been shaky, to say the least. The high-flying form from earlier in the season feels like a thing of the past as they are wasting chances in front of goal and giving away goals far too easily at the back.

The one positive going into this game will be Celtic's injury situation. Other than James Forrest, who has been absent for a while, everyone else appears to be available.

As reported by CeltsAreHere, Brendan Rodgers said ahead of the game:

"Yes, everyone is ready apart from James Forrest. The rest of the squad is fit and prepared for the game."

On the other hand, BSC Young Boys are not enjoying a great season by any means. In the Swiss top flight, they currently sit at 9th and have only won six out of their 19 games so far.

Their situation has been even worse when it comes to the Champions League. They have lost all six of their league phase games so far. As a result, they are bottom of the table with no points and have a goal difference of -19.

It goes without saying that Celtic must win this game, especially as it is at home. Everything seems to be in their favour. They just need to get the job done.

They cannot hope to get a lot of their other remaining game in the competition. That will be an away trip against Aston Villa, a tough task for any team in Europe right now and one that Rodgers' side might struggle with.
