It looks like Celtic are moving a lot of plates at the moment. News broke out last night that the club had reopened talks to sign Sondre Orjasaeter from Sarpsborg 08 but he is not the only one they have set their sights on. It appears that the Hoops are holding discussions for multiple players at the same time.
Another piece of news that came out of nowhere was that they had made an offer for Ecuadorian international Nilson Angula, currently of Anderlecht. And now, it looks like the club are working on signing a third winger at the same time.
As reported by Sacha Tavolieri, Celtic are back in the race to sign Michel-Ange Balikwisha. They have been interested in the Royal Antwerp winger since last summer, and the Scottish club’s management has reconnected with the player's camp. They have begun new discussions regarding personal terms.
What kind of a figure would it take to sign him from Royal Antwerp? As reported by Corriere della Sera (via Roma Press) last summer, Balikwisha’s estimated transfer fee was valued at €10 million.

Balikwisha might be available for significantly less than that €10 million figure this summer though. One cannot forget that he is coming off an injury-riddled season in which he barely played.
Balikwisha's quality did shine through late in the season though. That is what might have convinced Celtic that making a move for him still makes sense.
It remains to be seen if they are able to get a deal over the line this time or not. The Belgian winger has been on their radar for quite a while now. One thing is clear, the Hoops are aiming to bring in a wide player as soon as possible.
