It would be safe to say that the change in managers worked out for Celtic. Brendan Rodgers was struggling to get a tune out of this team but Martin O'Neill has, winning six out of the seven games during his interim charge. As a result, not only are the Hoops back in the title race, they might now be in control of it again.

Hearts were eight points ahead at one point in time. But as Celtic have improved, it has looked like Derek McInnes' side have been feeling the pressure and dropping points as a result. If the Hoops win their game in hand, they will go top of the Premiership.

On the other hand, the managerial change at Ibrox does not seem to have had as big an impact on the results. Russell Martin was sacked after just 123 days in charge, and replaced by Danny Rohl.

To be fair, Rohl has done better than Martin. But it would have been nearly impossible not to do so. He has not exactly gotten a tune out the Rangers either though, and their latest result was a goalless draw at home against Falkirk.

It is safe to say that the Rangers fans are getting frustrated with how things have been for their side this season. One of their supporters wrote: "Beyond embarrassing every loan player should be sent back."

Then there were those stating the obvious: "At the moment we have a terrible football team."

Then there are those willing to give Rohl some time to get things together: "Danny is still working his squad out, which allows him some grace. The league was always a tough ask with these players, but the bubble of desperate hope was burst today."

Well, that is not Celtic's problem to worry about. The Hoops are set to have a new manager in charge soon as well.

Wilfried Nancy is set to be the new permanent manager of the club. The announcement has not been made yet, but it is believed to be only a matter of time.

This weekend's game was expected to be the end of O'Neill's interim charge. But now, it looks like he could have to caoch the Hoops for one more game. We are not complaining, after how well he has done since arriving, that is for sure.
