Celtic are believed to have agreed a pre-contract agreement with Kieran Tierney ahead of his contract running out next summer. But unfortunately, it looks like Arsenal are not ready to let him leave on a loan deal this winter, as they are wary of being short of options at left-back as they aim to challenge for the Premier League once again.

On the other hand, Arsenal need to bring in a striker as soon as possible. Plenty of high-profile names have been linked with a move to the London club in recent times.

Arsenal have had a tough time getting a deal done for any of them though. And in this situation, could they have an eye on one of Celtic's players.

That player we are talking about is Adam Idah, who scored a brace against Aston Villa in an away Champions League game recently although it ended in a 4-2 defeat for Celtic. As reported by Football Insider, Lee Hendrie, said on Sky Sports Soccer Special (29 January, 8.47pm):

"I’m looking at Villa defensively, I’m looking at Adam Idah. He couldn’t get in the Norwich side [now] he looks like an absolute worldie.

“I bet you Arsenal will be looking at him to be honest at this moment in time, it’s absolutely unbelievable."

Admittedly, Idah did very well to get a brace against Aston Villa in a big away game in Europe. In the process, he also reached the 10-goal mark for the season.

That being said, it does not look like a club like Arsenal would have an eye on Idah at the moment. One cannot overlook the fact that he was on a 14-game goalless run before he found the back of the net against Aston Villa.

The hope is that with Kyogo leaving the club, it leads to Idah getting a run in the first-team and it helps him rediscover his rhythm and form in front of goal. The performance against Aston Villa was cause for optimism without a doubt. Hopefully, he is able to build on that.
