Of course, most people will still be thinking about Celtic's Champions League qualification exit at the hands of Kairat this week. The Hoops could not find the back of the net even once in 210 minutes of football. And then, they had a horrible performance when the game went to penalties, missing three of their five spot kicks.

So, all things considered, Celtic simply did not deserve to go through. The right team won and the Hoops only have themselves to blame for this defeat.

It is not just the players and the coaching staff though. The board need to take accountability as well, having not been able to make the necessary additions in time for such an important fixture. And as a result, they now won't be playing Champions League football.

With that out of the way, Celtic fans now need to focus on the things that lie ahead. That includes Europa League football, an upcoming Glasgow Derby and the end to this summer transfer window.

Celtic player agrees deal to leave and completes medical

One would be hoping for Celtic to make some quality additions to the team before the window comes to a close. But on the other hand, there are players still continuing to leave.

As reported by Anthony Joseph, Celtic left-back Mitchel Frame has agreed terms on a four-year deal with Aberdeen. The player has also completed a medical with the Dons. The clubs had agreed on a fee already.

Frame has been a highly-rated player while coming through the academy ranks at Celtic. But just like so many before him, he did not get a proper chance to prove himself in the senior team. As a result, an exit was the most likely route for him this summer and he has taken it. We can only wish him the best as he takes the next step in his career.
