Celtic are dealing with a lot of problems right now. Of course, there is not much that remains to be said about the fans' dissatisfaction with the board, and it remains to be seen if changes take place as a result of it. On the other hand, Brendan Rodgers' coaching has come under the microscope as well, as the team are neither playing good football nor producing results at the moment. Surely the players deserve their fair share of the blame as well. But one cannot overlook the injury problems either.

Celtic have had plenty of injuries to deal with at the start of the campaign as well. And just when it looked like one of them was closing in on a return, it looks like there is a setback.

Auston Trusty was getting close to getting back on the pitch. He had even been on the bench against SC Braga. But now, it appears that he has suffered an injury setback, which is expected to delay that return.

As reported by 67 Hail Hail, Trusty said about his situation:

"I tore my plantar fascia just coming back a few days ago. So that kind of ruined some momentum."

Trusty arrived at Celtic last year and did not really have a great debut campaign. He did get his fair share of chances but could not make them count and by the end of the season, he had lost his place in the starting XI to Liam Scales.

Trusty did manage to impress the fans with his performances in pre-season this time around and that raised hopes that he was in for a good second season at Celtic. But unfortunately, so far, that has been derailed by fitness issues.

It remains to be seen how much this setback ends up delaying his return. One can only hope that it proves to be a minor road bump and he is back soon.
