One of the areas Celtic will be looking to strengthen this summer is on the wings. Jota is expected to remain out on the sidelines for the foreseeable future, potentially even for the rest of the year, after suffering a serious injury. On the other hand, Nicolas Kuhn is believed to be closing in on a Parkhead exit with reports in Germany suggested talks are advanced with RB Leipzig.
So, Celtic will need to bring in a replacement. One of the players they have been linked with lately is Raul Moro of Real Valladolid.
The 22-year-old Spanish winger was linked with a move to Celtic in January. In fact, there are suggestions that it was close before he ended up suffering an injury. But unfortunately, it looks like he is most likely to end up at Ajax this summer instead of Parkhead.
As reported by De Telegraaf, Ajax are nearing an agreement with Real Valladolid for Moro. They would have to pay €9.5 million in fixed payments and a maximum of €1.5 million in bonuses for the Spaniard. An agreement with the player himself was reached last week on a contract until the summer of 2030.

So, it looks like Ajax are on the verge of completing a deal for Moro. Celtic, on the other hand, will need to look elsewhere as they aim to strengthen their options on the flanks.
Moro came through the youth ranks at Barcelona but ended up joining Lazio, which is where he made his breakthrough at he senior level. But it did not really work out for the Spaniard and after a few loan spells, he joined Real Valladolid.
Moro has been a standout performer for Real Valladolid. But the team as a whole have struggled. They have been relegated from La Liga once again and it is only a matter of time before their top players end up leaving.
