Celtic are keen to add to their squad this summer, and have already made key additions like Kieran Tierney and Swedish international Benjamin Nygren. But at the same time, there have been major departures as well. The biggest of them is that of Nicolas Kuhn, who is on the verge of joining Como FC, the ambitious Serie A side managed by Cesc Fabregas.

Kuhn might have struggled for form in the second half of the 24/25 season, but he was a regular starter throughout the campaign and the Hoops' second-best overall performer behind Daizen Maeda. So, he will need some replacing, especially with Jota on the sidelines for several more months.

Celtic have been linked with the player who replaced him at Rapid Vienna. And there is a major update on his situation at the Austrian club.

As reported by The Celtic Way, Rapid Vienna have accepted that Isak Jansson will leave the club. They have ordered him to sit out pre-season training.

'Accepted' - Major £10 million Celtic transfer update

There have been suggestions that Rapid Vienna want a transfer fee in the region of £10 million to part ways with Jansson. One would hope that there is room for negotiation over that figure, especially because Kuhn was signed from the Austrian club for less than a third of that.

It remains to be seen how things play out in the Jansson transfer saga. It does look like Rapid Vienna are open to the prospect of him leaving though, which is a boost for Celtic's chances of signing him.

On the other hand, it is worth noting that he is not the only winger that Celtic are looking to sign this summer. Michel-Ange Balikwisha of Royal Antwerp is believed to be closing in on a move to Parkhead right now.
