Celtic will return to club action after the international break by taking on Motherwell at the weekend. The Hoops’ last result was a 6-0 win over Aberdeen. But that was almost two weeks ago and Brendan Rodgers’ side will need to rediscover their positive momentum. There is some good news for them in that regard.

While the 6-0 result was a positive for Celtic, the fans were left worried in the aftermath of the game. Kyogo, who had scored on the day, had appeared to pick up a head knock and was substituted off.

Of course, such knocks are always worrying and it was unclear whether Kyogo would be back after the international break or not. It is looking like he will.

Celtic posted pictures from training at Lennoxtown on their official website. There were quite a few photographs of Kyogo, as it looks like the Japanese forward has recovered.

While the official squad is yet to be released, expect to see the name of Kyogo on it. That is good news for the Hoops without a doubt.

Kyogo might not be scoring at the rate that he was last season, when he got himself 34 goals across all competitions, but he is still the club’s most reliable source in front of goal. Also, in this campaign, he has shown that he is capable of delivering at all levels, finding the back of the net against Atletico Madrid as well as Lazio in the UEFA Champions League.

Let’s see if Kyogo starts against Motherwell at the weekend or not. Even if he does not, Celtic fans should be confident of the team’s chances. Oh Hyeon-gyu has started to show flashes of quality in recent games after a slow start to the season. The South Korean striker scored a brace vs Aberdeen in added time.
