It can come as a surprise for some players when they first step out at home for Celtic. Many take it in their stride, others take more time to adjust to the pressure that comes with playing in front of 60,000 fans every week. One player has adapted very well since making the move to Glasgow in the summer.

Luis Palma joined Celtic this summer. He is already getting regular match time and featuring in the starting XI. While the recent transfer window was somewhat mixed for the club, we are now seeing the Honduran international’s ability and potential.

His recent performances have been very good and he is registering consistent assists and goals to his name. So far, he seems to be matching Jota’s output, if not surpassing it. Let’s see if he can continue performing like this.

Palma was one of the wingers brought to the club this summer and viewed as one of the replacements for Jota. He has certainly taken his opportunity to shine in the Hoops.

Palma seems to have been left very impressed by the Celtic fans as well. As reported by diez, he said:

"“I didn’t expect them to release a song for me, I thank the club’s fans, they are the best fans I have ever had in my clubs. I feel blessed, I hope to God I can continue.”"

It must be a great moment when he hears the song start up while on the pitch in front of the fans. It’s a great reward for his recent performances and well deserved. Currently, like many of the Celtic players, Palma is back in his homeland to face Mexico during the international break.

Palma is one of the Honduras national team’s most important players right now. They have a big week coming up, as they will be taking on Mexico twice. It remains to be seen if the Celtic winger is able to make his presence felt, as he has done for the Hoops lately.
