Celtic player tipped for transfer by international teammate
A lot of Celtic fans have been critical of the club’s summer transfer moves. The Hoops brought in nine new players, seven on a permanent basis and two on loan. While they were unquestionably active, that does not take away from the fact most of these arrivals are not ready to be regular starters yet.
That being said, Celtic are definitely on to a winner in Luis Palma. The Honduran international looks like a player and a half.
His start to life at Celtic has been superb and he only seems to be getting better. Palma put in an unbelievable performance against Aberdeen this weekend, scoring one goal while assisting three more. That is remarkable and the Honduran is a starter in Brendan Rodgers’ team already.
Of course, Celtic fans will be delighted with Palma. It does look like he has the quality to replace Jota. But at the same time, there is already talk about a future move.

As reported by Diez, Andy Najar said:
"“Palma is breaking it, I hope he continues like this, he is going to join a better team, a better league and continue scoring more goals in the Champions League. We want him to come here and score here too, we hope for those goals from Luis.”"
Najar is an international teammate of Palma. He also has plenty of experience when it comes to playing in Europe. He spent many years playing for Anderlecht. Currently, he is with MLS team DC United.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Palma and if he can continue performing like this, it is almost certain that he will get a big move away from Celtic Park. It is way too early to start thinking about that though. It has only been months since he arrived.
But his numbers in a Celtic jersey are starting to look superb and comparable to Jota. According to stats from Transfermarkt, Palma has scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists in 12 appearances and 614 minutes of football for the club so far.
