Brendan Rodgers’ second stint at Celtic might not have gotten off to a great start but the team is certainly starting to find their feet now. They have been on a superb run in the league after some early stumbles and have been successful in opening up a seven-point lead over the Rangers which saw Michael Beale being shown the Ibrox exit door and he was replaced by Philippe Clement.

Clement is the most proven manager that the Rangers have had in a long time. So, he could pose an interesting challenge to Rodgers but one still has to give the edge to the Northern Irishman, who has shown the ability to do it at a higher level than the Belgian.

It has not been all plain sailing for Rodgers so far though. Quite a few of his summer signings are yet to show their quality for the Hoops.

One signing that Celtic made in the summer was Marco Tilio. The youngster was one of the best talents in the A-League. But we are yet to see him feature for the Hoops, raising questions about his suitability for the team already as well as his future at Parkhead.

Rodgers admits Celtic signing is struggling

One has to point out that Tilio did get injured soon after arriving at Celtic Park. And it looks like that is one of the reasons he is struggling to adjust to life at Parkhead as well as the intensity of the game in Scotland.

As reported by Keep Up, Rodgers said about Tilio:

"“It’s just time. He will admit it himself, it’s been a really, really hard transition for him.“The intensity of the game is totally different to what he is used to, so it’s been a challenge for him in training.“It’s always difficult, you are a new player coming into a club and you end up being injured virtually all of pre-season and into September.“He has started to find his feet in the last three or four weeks. It’s going to take him more time but I am not in any big rush for Marco. He will bring himself to the team as quickly as he can produce in training and over his time here.”"

Celtic fans will be hoping to see more of Tilio moving forward. He showed a lot of promise during his time in the A-League and earned comparisons to Phil Foden. He has represented the Australian national team as well. The talent is there for all to see but now it is about making the adjustment to Scottish football.
