Ange Postecoglou has made quite an impact since arriving in the Premier League. The Australian manager had a superb run at Celtic, winning five trophies in two seasons in Glasgow, but decided to make the move to Tottenham Hotspur merely days after guiding the Hoops to a domestic treble last season.

Many Celtic fans were not happy to see Postecoglou leave after just two years. But nobody can deny the success that he is enjoying in England right now.

Tottenham Hotspur seem transformed under the management of Postecoglou. They were expected to struggle this season after Harry Kane left for Bayern Munich. Instead, they sit atop the Premier League table right now, something that pretty much nobody would have expected except those who already knew what Postecoglou was capable of.

Those achievements have brought Postecoglou to the forefront of the footballing world. It is hard to imagine that just a couple of years ago, there were doubts as to whether he would ever get a chance to even manage a top-flight club in Europe. He got his opportunity at Celtic and has certainly made the most of it.

As reported by Celts Are Here, Postecoglou visited West Ham’s stadium this week in order to talk to coaches who are going through their badges right now. After the seminar, Postecoglou and Scott McDonald were pictured together.

Of course, McDonald played for three years at Celtic. He also scored 31 goals in his debut season for the club.

A lot of Celtic fans will also remember him scoring two late goals against the Hoops in order to deny them the league title back in the 2004/05 season. So, it is safe to say that he has quite a bit of history with the Glasgow giants. McDonald is also a former Australian international but never played for the Socceroos while Postecoglou was manager.
