It is musicians who have grabbed most of the headlines in recent times when it comes to supporting Celtic. Of course, Rod Stewart is arguably the most famous fan that the Hoops have these days. Lewis Capaldi is well known for his support of the club as well. Recently, even Macklemore was seen performing on stage wearing the famous green-and-white jersey.

But it is not just musicians who support Celtic. One famous Hollywood star was spotted at Parkhead recently as well, as he took in a game at Paradise.

That actor is none other than Tommy Flanagan. He shared a picture on his Instagram of himself and his godson at Celtic Park to his more than 600,000 followers on the social media app.

Of course, Flanagan is a Scottish actor. He has been a part of several high-profile movies and shows throughout the course of his career. He is best known for his work in ‘Sons of Anarchy’, but he has also had roles in works like ‘Peaky Blinders’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’, ‘Gotham’ and more.

Celtic are no strangers to having high-profile fans. In fact, they have one of the biggest fanbases in the world.

Football fans from around the world might have a tough time understanding the size of the club simply because they play in the Scottish Premiership, which is not considered among the biggest or best. But it is safe to say that the Hoops are surely one of the biggest brands in the game today and are showing no signs of slowing down either.

Of course, if they want to grow their brand further, they will have to perform on the European stage, something that they have not done in recent years. Their latest effort was a 2-1 defeat to Lazio.
