A number of Celtic players have been linked with moves away in recent times and overall, the club have done well to keep the core of their squad together. Yes, they have seen the likes of Jota and Carl Starfelt leave while Aaron Mooy retired at the end of last season. But other than that, they have kept all of their key stars.

Not only that, but they have managed to agree new deals with a number of them as well. Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda, Callum McGregor, Liel Abada, Anthony Ralston and Stephen Welsh have all agreed fresh terms in recent months.

That does not mean that any of them could not leave if the right offer was on the table. And Chelsea have been urged to sign one of Celtic’s best players in January.

Chelsea have struggled in front of goal this season, with Nicolas Jackson failing to finish off his chances. As a result, they could do with another forward right now and the name of Kyogo has been suggested as a possible solution to their problems.

In an interview with OLBG, Pat Nevin said when asked if there was anyone he would like to see Chelsea sign in January:

"“I think Ivan Toney is the one that makes the most sense. Chelsea won’t get Callum Wilson or many other proven strikers. I think Kyogo Furuhashi at Celtic would be a good move, too, as he’d finish off a lot of the missed chances.”"

Kyogo has been brilliant ever since he was signed in the summer of 2021 from Vissel Kobe. He scored 34 goals across all competitions in the previous campaign and has made a very good start to this season as well, finding the back of the net consistently.

Thus, it is very clear that Kyogo knows his way to the back of the net and has shown a wide range of finishing during his time at Celtic. There are some doubts as to whether he would be able to adjust to the Premier League though.
