Celtic want to sign international winger on free transfer
Celtic signed three wingers in the summer in the form of Yang Hyun-jun, Luis Palma and Marco Tilio. On the other hand, Jota left the club in order to join Al-Ittihad. The Hoops might be in need of further strengthening on the flanks though, with Liel Abada picking up an injury while away on international duty that is expected to keep him out of action for months.
So, it should not come as a surprise that the club are being linked with another winger. Especially one who is available as a free agent.
As reported by Relevo (via Estadio Deportivo), Celtic are keeping an eye on Nemanja Jovic. Rayo Vallecano, FC Basel and several other clubs are interested in him as well.
Jovic is available as a free agent after leaving Partizan Belgrade recently. As a result, he is a player who could come in immediately and the Hoops would not have to wait for the winter transfer window to open.

Jovic does fit the profile of players Celtic have been bringing in in recent times. He is 21 years of age and would be considered as a ‘project’ signing.
He does have some pedigree though. Jovic has already made a couple of appearances for the Serbia national team. He also played almost a hundred games for Partizan Belgrade before leaving.
So, Jovic certainly would not be an inexperienced player despite being just 21. But one has to wonder whether Celtic are bringing in too many youngsters at the same time.
The team’s inexperience was on full show in their UEFA Champions League opener against Feyenoord. Gustaf Lagerbielke and Odin Thiago Holm, two of their summer signings, were shown red cards on the evening as they lost 2-0 against Feyenoord away in the Netherlands.
