Fabrizio Romano confirms Celtic have agreed new deal
Celtic have been handing out new deals left, right and centre in recent times as it looks like the Hoops are keen to keep their most important players. Callum McGregor, Kyogo, Daizen Maeda and Liel Abada have all agreed contract extensions. It is believed that the club are aiming to do the same with Matt O’Riley and Reo Hatate as well. And now, it looks like a youngster has put pen to paper on fresh terms as well.
One problem that Celtic have faced in recent years is keeping hold of their most talented youngsters. Several of them have chosen to leave for England and beyond.
It looks like Mitchel Frame sees his future at Celtic Park. And the news should be music to the ears of the club’s supporters because he is one of the most highly-rated talents that they have in the youth and developmental levels right now.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Celtic have agreed new deal terms with Frame. He already had deal to summer 2025 but now agreed new contract to summer 2026. Several clubs in England were targeting the youngster.

Frame is 17 years of age and plays as a left-back. He is viewed as an important part of the Celtic B team and if things go well, he should be playing senior football in the not-too-distant future.
Of course, a lot of things need to work out for a youngster to get consistent chances in the senior team. The club do not have a great record at that in recent years for sure and need to improve.
Brendan Rodgers does have a good record when it comes to developing youngsters. Hopefully, he will be able to do the same with Frame. The Hoops certainly need a long-term solution at left-back at the moment.
