Celtic have been busy with incomings over the last few days. They have already announced the signing of Luis Palma from Aris FC and the loan arrival of Nat Phillips from Liverpool. But on the other hand, there could be a few who head for the exit door before the summer transfer window slams shut soon.
There are quite a few players at Celtic who have not gotten ample playing time. One name that would fall under that category is that of Sead Haksabanovic.
In fact, Haksabanovic caused some controversy with one of his recent social media posts. As a result, him leaving might be the best step forward. And it looks like that is exactly what is going to happen.
For a while, it had looked like he was headed for Greece. But now, it looks like England is his next destination. As tweeted out by Pete O’Rourke, Stoke City are poised to sign Haksabanovic from Celtic with the player set for a medical.

Haksabanovic arrived at the club in the summer of 2022. And for quite a while, it looked like the club had pulled off a masterstroke. In fact, he even won the Player of the Month last November.
But then, club football stopped and the World Cup started. Unfortunately, that break appeared to come at the wrong time for Haksabanovic.
Before that, he was in top form. But after the World Cup break, chances proved hard to come by for the player and he only made a handful of starts in the second half of last season.
Things do not seem to have improved for him since the arrival of Brendan Rodgers as manager either. As a result, him leaving might be the best step for all parties involved.
