Celtic want to sign three more players this summer
Celtic are close to making their sixth signing of the ongoing summer transfer window. There have been suggestions that the club have agreed a fee to sign Gustaf Lagerbielke and that the Swede is set to travel to Glasgow for his medical soon. Of course, he will take Carl Starfelt’s place in the squad, who left for Celta Vigo earlier.
Celtic have already made five additions to their squad. They have signed Odin Thiago Holm, Marco Tilio, Yang Hyun-jun, Kwon Hyeok-kyu and Maik Nawrocki.
All highly-rated young talents without a doubt. There is the risk though, that some of those moves will not work out.
When Brendan Rodgers was reappointed as manager of the club, fans would have been hoping for some experienced and established additions to the squad. They have not come till now. The Hoops could still make a few more signings this summer though.

The Hoops could remain active moving forward. As reported by the Daily Record, Celtic are looking for another right-back, winger and striker for the Champions League group stages.
At right-back, Celtic have a great option in the form of Alistair Johnston. The problem is, he has been on the sidelines for a while after undergoing surgery. In his absence, Anthony Ralston has been serving as the starter.
Jota left the club earlier in the summer for Al-Ittihad. And he has not been properly replaced yet. The likes of Yang and Tilio are highly-rated but not ready to take the Portuguese winger’s place in the team.
And finally, Celtic could do with another striker as well, especially with Oh Hyeon-gyu suffering an injury recently. Kyogo has been absolutely superb and is coming off a 34-goal season but he needs some cover, especially in the UEFA Champions League, a competition in which the Japanese forward seemed to struggle in the previous campaign.
