Celtic have already lost two key players this summer. Jota left last month in order to join Al-Ittihad in a £25 million transfer. And recently, they have seen Carl Starelt leave for Celta Vigo of La Liga. Both of them were nailed-on starters during the Ange Postecoglou era and played an important part in winning five of the last six domestic trophies.

It goes without saying that Celtic fans will not want to see any more key players leave this summer. But now, another starter is being linked with a move away.

At this point in time, Reo Hatate leaving would seem more likely than some of the others, as he has not looked anywhere near his best since the arrival of Brendan Rodgers and many fans have questioned his body language. But it looks like offers are set to come in for Liel Abada.

As reported by Sky Sports, two European clubs are set to make offers for Abada. One is an unnamed club from France and the other one is from the Bundesliga.

Abada has been impressive since the appointment of Rodgers. And following the exit of Jota, he seems to be a starter now.

Earlier on in the summer, there were plenty of rumours about the future of Abada but they had started to fade away in recent weeks. But now, it looks like some offers may be coming Celtic’s way for the Israeli international.

Abada leaving would be a major blow for Celtic. One could argue that they have not properly replaced Jota in the first place. The Portuguese winger left in a blockbuster move while the club have brought in two highly-rated youngsters in Marco Tilio and Yang Hyun-jun. They have potential but are not ready to be starters.
