Celtic have a pretty stacked squad at the moment, but they could do with a few reinforcements. Most feel that the club have not properly replaced Jota, who left for Al-Ittihad earlier this summer. On the other hand, Carl Starfelt seems to be headed out as well and the Hoops will need to bring in a centre-back to take his place in the team.
There is another area where many Celtic fans feel the club need to improve. It is between the posts, with Joe Hart being the number one right now.
Hart has done a very good job since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur in 2021. Many of his recent performances have come under heavy criticism though and at 36 years of age, he is clearly not the long-term solution between the sticks for Celtic.
Thus, sooner or later, Celtic will need to sign a new goalkeeper. And rumours earlier on in the window seemed to suggest that they were on the lookout for one this summer. Now though, it looks like that might not be the case after all.

Not unless one of the current 3 moves on.

That is not what Celtic fans would have been hoping to hear. At this point in time, the three options between the posts for the club are Hart, Benjamin Siegrist and Scott Bain.
Most fans feel that neither of those three should be the starter for the Hoops moving forward and that the club need a new number one. Yet, it appears that Celtic might be satisfied with the options they have at goalkeeper.
That is a bit confusing, to be honest. It is very clear that Hart is not great with the ball at his feet in a team that likes to play out from the back. That got the Englishman into trouble more than once against Ross County.
