A lot of Celtic fans believe that Celtic need to sign a new goalkeeper this summer. Joe Hart has played his part in winning five trophies over the past two seasons, but some of his recent displays have left the supporters less than impressed. Also, he is 36 years of age and not a long-term solution for the Hoops. Thus, they will need bring a new number one in sooner or later, and the links with Dominik Livakovic earlier on in the window were welcomed.
Livakovic is one of the most underrated goalkeepers in world football right now, and played. a key part in Croatia’s third place finish at the 2022 World Cup. Surprisingly, that did not earn him a move to one of the top five European leagues.
There have been plenty of twists and turns in the Livakovic transfer saga already. The belief was that Fenerbahce had agreed a deal for the Croatian international but nothing has been announced yet.
And rumours have emerged recently that the transfer race for Livakovic is still alive and that Celtic have made a new offer to sign him from Dinamo Zagreb. How accurate are these suggestions though?
Reliable journalist offers Livakovic to Celtic news
When asked on Twitter about the Hoops’ interest in the player, Izak Ante Sucic replied that Celtic may be interested but they have not spoken with Livakovic or with Dinamo Zagreb about a possible transfer.
Celtic may be interested as Scotish media wrote, but they didn't speek with Livakovic or with Dinamo about possible transfer.

Sucic might not be one of the big name journalists on Twitter. But he has a very good track record when it comes to Croatian transfer news.
So, let’s see how things play out from here in the long-running Livakovic transfer saga. A move to Celtic Park is not impossible but at this point of time, it does seem pretty unlikely to be very honest.
