Celtic have been superb when it comes to identifying the right talents from around the world and then bringing them to Parkhead. Just this summer, they have added four fresh faces to their ranks in the form of Odin Thiago Holm, Marco Tilio, Kwon Hyeok-kyu and Yang Hyun-jun. And more are expected to follow over the coming weeks.

Celtic’s next likely signing appears to Maik Nawrocki of Legia Warsaw. The Polish youth international has been heavily linked with a move to Parkhead over the last several days.

There have even been rumours that a transfer fee has been agreed with Legia Warsaw and that the player himself has undergone a medical in Glasgow. It remains to be seen how accurate they turn out to be.

It looks like the player has dropped a major hint on social media that he could be on his way to Parkhead. Nawrocki has followed Celtic on Instagram.

As far as modern football goes, a player following a club on social media is a major hint that a move could be close. And everything suggests that Nawrocki could be announced as a new Celtic player over the coming days.

The 22-year-old Polish youth international is a very highly-rated talent without doubt and is coming off of an impressive campaign. On the other hand, Celtic are in need of a centre-back right now, as the defence has struggled in the absence of Cameron Carter-Vickers.

There are already question marks over the future of Yuki Kobayashi. And Stephen Welsh is expected to be on his way out this summer. Thus, it is not hard to see why Celtic might be interested in bringing in someone like Nawrocki, who could come in and challenge for a starting position from the get go.
