Celtic certainly appear to be moving in the right direction right now. They will have three trophies to defend next season, having won the domestic treble last time around under the management of Ange Postecoglou. On top of that, Brendan Rodgers’ side are guaranteed a place in the UEFA Champions League group stage as well. Last time around, the Hoops failed to win a single game in the competition and will be surely looking to change that.

There were fears that the club’s transfer policy, which has served them so well over the past two seasons, would undergo a change with the departure of Postecoglou. But that has not been the case at all.

Earlier this summer, they completed the signings of Marco Tilio from Melbourne City FC and Odin Thiago Holm from Valerenga. And now, they have brought in two more young talents to Glasgow.

The arrivals of Kwon Hyeok-kyu and Yang Hyun-jun have been finally announced by the club. They are two of the most highly-rated young talents in South Korean football right now.

There was a third announcement on the day as well. And it had to do with the women’s team. As reported by Celtic’s official website, Chloe Craig is the latest player to commit her future to the club, signing a new three-year deal.

Celtic FC Women have had a lot of big moments over the past couple of years as well. Hopefully, they will build on those and establish themselves as the best women’s team in Scottish football in the upcoming season.

As for the men’s team, the arrivals of Kwon and Yang will come as a boost, and will add to their depth. But at the same time, they need to bring in a few experienced and established players as well, if they want to succeed in the Champions League.
