Celtic are rumoured to be considering marquee signings this summer but till now, they have only brought in highly-rated young talents. The signings of Marco Tilio and Odin Thiago Holm were completed early on in the window and it is believed that official announcements for the arrivals of Yang Hyun-jun and Kwon Hyeok-kyu will be made very soon as well.

They are all very highly-rated talents and could go on to be future stars for the club. But most fans will be hoping that the Hoops bring in some experienced and established stars this summer as well.

For now though, it looks like the focus will remain on bringing in youngsters. And a 22-year-old Egyptian international appears to be in their sights.

As tweeted out by Anthony Joseph, Celtic are one of a number of clubs in Europe interested in Mohamed Reda. It is understood that initial contact has been made and the Hoops are weighing up making an offer for the Future FC midfielder.

Reda is 22 years of age and currently plays for Future FC. His career is certainly on the rise, as he made his debut for the Egyptian national team not too long ago.

Reda plays in central midfield but he has the ability to play further up the pitch as well. And he has shown a very decent eye for goal. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 11 goals and provided 8 assists in 66 appearances for Future FC.

Reda certainly looks like a big talent and it remains to be seen if Celtic make a move this summer. The club have already signed Holm though. So, their interest in Reda would worry fans about potential exits. Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley have both been linked with moves away.
