Celtic have one of the biggest fan bases in the world and very often people fail to realise how widespread the support for the Hoops is, because they play in the Scottish Premiership. The club have a long list of celebrity fans as well. That includes names like Rod Stewart, Lewis Capaldi, Snoop Dogg and more.
The latest musical superstar who appears to have a soft spot for Celtic seems to be Niall Horan. He became a worldwide sensational as part of pop band, One Direction, and has had a solo career since the group split up several years back.
As reported by the Daily Record, Horan was seen with not one but two Celtic tops, including the new home kit. The pop star was in Glasgow to play a set.
Horan is a friend of Capaldi as well. He paid tribute to his pal and wished him well, as he takes a break from music.

Horan joins a list of high profile musical superstars who appear to support Celtic. That should come as no surprise though, considering the reach of the club.
As for Horan, he remains one of the biggest names in music despite the fact that it has been several years since One Direction disbanded. He has 32.4 million followers on Instagram and 4.62 million subscribers on his YouTube channel.
We can only wish him the best in his musical career. And hopefully, we get to see him in attendance at Parkhead some day, to take in a Celtic game.
Considering Horan’s Irish roots, seeing him with Celtic tops should not come as a major surprise to be honest. The former One Direction member is also known to be a supporter of Derby County, who currently find themselves playing in the third division of English football.
