Celtic have made a bright start to the summer transfer window. They have already announced the arrival of Odin Thiago Holm from Valerenga. On the other hand, it is believed that a deal to sign Marco Tilio of Melbourne City FC is also close. Both are very highly rated talents and would be good additions to the team.

Bringing in more quality players and strengthening the squad is important. At the same time though, it is also important to keep those who have brought in so much success over the past couple of seasons.

Plenty of Celtic’s key players have been linked with moves away in recent months. And it will be important that the club are able to keep the majority of them at Parkhead come next season.

It looks like one player could have the chance to make a move to the Premier League this summer. As reported by The Mirror (via Daily Record), Kyogo is on Burnley’s radar.

Kyogo has been an absolute superstar for Celtic since joining the club in the summer of 2021 from Vissel Kobe. Last season, he found the back of the net on 34 occasions, as the club won the treble.

As a result, he was the Premiership top scorer. It is not just the amount of goals though. Kyogo is a man for the big moments as well. He scored a brace in the Scottish League Cup final against the Rangers and found the back of the net in the Scottish Cup final against Inverness CT as well.

Thus, Kyogo is a vital part of this team and someone that Celtic must try their best to keep at the club for as long as possible. At the same time though, the Japanese forward is 28 years of age and does not have a lot of time on his hands to get a big move elsewhere. So, if a Premier League club come calling in the summer, it is not hard to see why that might be an attractive proposition for him.
