Celtic already have a superb squad, which won the treble last season and showed promising signs in the Champions League as well, even though they were not able to win a game in the competition. The majority of the roster was assembled under the management of Ange Postecoglou, who has left in order to join Tottenham Hotspur.

Brendan Rodgers is the new manager of the club. And he is expected to make quite a few additions this summer, in order to reshape the squad to fit his vision.

One area that might be in need of reinforcements soon is the right flank. Liel Abada has been linked with a move away for a long time now. And it is interesting that Celtic are being linked with players who can take his place in the team.

As reported by The Mail+, Celtic are working on a deal to sign Australian international Marco Tilio. He currently plays for Melbourne City FC.

Tilio is a winger who can play on both flanks, but mostly does on the right. He can play as a centre-forward as well, if the situation calls for it.

Tilio is someone who has been impressing in his homeland for some time now, and it looks like a move to Celtic Park might be on the cards this summer. Of course, Australian internationals have had a great time at Parkhead over the years.

Tom Rogic established himself as a Celtic legend during his run at Parkhead. And Aaron Mooy has proven to be a superb signing as well.

Tilio is just 21 years of age, but he has already been putting up some impressive numbers. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 20 goals and provided 19 assists in 82 appearances for Melbourne City FC till now.
