As tweeted out by Stian Andre de Wahl, a medical test for Odin Thiago Holm is set for today. It will be carried out in London for practical reasons. If he passes this, he will join Celtic from Valerenga.
Holm is considered as one of the biggest talents in Norwegian football right now. So much so that he has even earned comparisons with Martin Odegaard, the current Arsenal captain and one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

If Celtic are able to get a deal for Holm over the line, then it certainly has the potential to be a very good signing in the long-term. It would be important to have patience with the youngster though and allow him time to reach his full potential.
Holm is just 20 years of age, but he is already a nailed on starter for Valerenga. There is no question about his talent and at his best, many believe that he is as good as Odegaard.
But at the same time, he is not that consistent yet. That will only come with age and experience. Thus, Celtic might be bringing in a raw talent here, who will need time to develop into a top player.
