Celtic set to make Brendan Rodgers announcement
Many Celtic fans are starting to get impatient with Brendan Rodgers situation. Rumours have suggested that a deal is over the line and the Northern Irishman will be the man in the Parkhead dugout come next season. But no official announcement is made regarding his return to the club, a little over four years after he left in the middle of the season to join Leicester City.
A lot of fans are starting to worry about a repeat of the Eddie Howe saga, when the Englishman seemed destined to get the Parkhead job, only for it to collapse. That time around, the club were able to bring in Ange Postecoglou.
The managers that Celtic have been linked with have not been spectacular to be very honest. And Rodgers seems like the best option available by some distance. That is one of the reasons why the fans have been so quick to forget the past and wait for his return.
There is some great news in that regard. As reported by The Scottish Sun, Rodgers is in line to finally be confirmed as new Celtic manager on Monday.

Celtic need to get the appointment of a new manager over the line as soon as possible. They need to start strengthening the squad as well.
Not only do they have three domestic titles to defend next season. But they have another guaranteed Champions League group stage campaign as well. They did not win a single game in the competition last time around, and must be looking to do better.
The club might already be making positive steps in the regard as well. There have been suggestions that they are very close to getting a deal over the line for Odin Thiago Holm, a highly rated Norwegian youngster from Valerenga.
