With Ange Postecoglou leaving Celtic for Tottenham Hotspur, the club are in need of a new manager. And new names continue to crop up as possible candidates for the job every day. It will be very interesting to see who the Hoops ultimately end up going for but the search could go on for a little while.

Names like Graham Potter, David Moyes and Brendan Rodgers have been linked with the Parkhead job. They have been at big clubs over the years and it would make sense for the Hoops to keep an eye on them.

On the other hand, the likes of Enzo Maresca, Kieran McKenna and Kjetil Knutsen are rumoured to be in the running for the job as well. They might not be big names in management but do bring a lot to the table.

One high profile manager seems to have an eye on the Parkhead vacancy. As reported by talkSPORT, Slaven Bilic is interested in succeeding Postecoglou at Celtic.

Bilic was the manager of the Croatian national team for almost six years. He showed a lot of promise during his time at West Ham United as well. But his managerial career has not quite gone as expected since then.

In recent years, Bilic has not really found his footing anywhere. His last role was at Watford, where he did not even last six months. Thus, it is not hard to see why he might be interested in the Celtic job.

While Bilic might be a high profile name, it does not feel like he is the right man for Celtic at this point of time. A move would have made sense six or seven years ago. But now, it feels like there are better options around and bringing in the Croatian would be a risk.
