Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be on the verge of appointing Ange Postecoglou as their next manager. Some of the most reliable sources in football have broken the news, and now, it only looks like a matter of time before the appointment is made official. Of course, it is a huge blow for Celtic, who will be losing their treble-winning boss.

At the same time though, there is no doubt that they are in a much better position now than they were when Postecoglou took charge. The Australian deserves immense credit for the job he has done and should have the best wishes of the Parkhead fans moving forward.

Of course, the big fear is that Tottenham Hotspur will come after Celtic players as well. Some who have achieved a lot of success under the management of Postecoglou already and know his style of play. And it looks like they have Kyogo in their sights.

As reported by The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur want Postecoglou to bring Kyogo with him from Celtic. They are prepared to pay around £25 million to £30 million to sign the Japanese superstar.

It is not hard to see why Spurs might be interested in signing Kyogo. He ended the campaign with 34 goals to his name and has done a brilliant job over the past two seasons at Celtic.

Celtic fans will surely be hoping that Kyogo remains at the club. But at the same time, they must be prepared for bad news. We have learned that from the Postecoglou saga.

Just two years on, Celtic might be in need of another rebuild. But with Champions League football to offer and coming off of five trophies in two seasons, they should have no problems attracting top class managers to the club this summer.
