Celtic boost confirmed before the Scottish Cup final
Celtic will be looking to complete a historic treble by winning the Scottish Cup, when they take to the Hampden Park pitch at the weekend to face Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The lead up to the match has been clouded by rumours about Ange Postecoglou’s future and links to Tottenham Hotspur. But when the Bhoys take to the pitch, one would hope that they are completely focussed on the task at hand.
Celtic will be considered as the heavy favourites going into the game. But it would be a mistake to take Inverness CT likely. They have earned their place in the Hampden Park showdown and upsets can happen.
There has been very little good news for Celtic fans over the last few days. It looks like the club are in a decent position on the injury front of things though, after appearing to pick up multiple issues on Trophy Day.
As reported by The Herald, Postecoglou said about Celtic’s fitness situation ahead of the Scottish Cup final:
"“Kyogo is progressing. He hasn’t trained yet. The plan is to get him out there tomorrow (Friday) and see how he goes. He is doing some individual stuff this afternoon.“He always is, but he is still pretty bullish about playing so we will just see how he goes.“(Alistair) Johnston is fine, he has trained all week and (Sead) Haksabanovic is back in so he is available as well. The only real absence is Aaron Mooy.”"

Thus, it looks like Mooy could possibly end up missing the final, which is a major blow without doubt. The Australian has been a key player in the middle of the park and has plenty of experience as well, something that Celtic could have done with in a game of this magnitude.
On the other hand though, there is some very positive news regarding the fitness situation of a number of their players, including Kyogo. The Japanese forward has been the star man for the Hoops this season.
If the past is anything to go by, one would expect Kyogo to be starting. And the situation of Alistair Johnston, another nailed on starter, seems to be positive as well. Now, it is important for the Bhoys to cancel out all the noise and take their A-game to Hampden Park.
