Ange Postecoglou has done an exceptional job ever since arriving at Celtic in the summer of 2021. Back then, the club were in a terrible situation and were coming off of a trophyless season in which they had finished 25 points behind the Rangers in the league. Thus, many people expected them to take two to three years just to start competing for the Premiership again.

Instead, they won a Premiership and League Cup double in their very first season under the management of Postecoglou. And this time around, they will get the chance to complete a treble when they take to the Hampden Park pitch against Inverness Caledonian Thistle next weekend.

That kind of success has unsurprisingly raised interest in Postecoglou. Tottenham Hotspur are rumoured to have made him their number one managerial target.

Of course, those kind of rumours have worried Celtic fans about the future of Postecoglou at Parkhead. But Greg Taylor has a clear take on the matter.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Taylor said:

"“There’s no point in any of us getting nervous about things like that because it’s outwith my control.“I suppose it’s inevitable there will be interest. That’s just what happens when someone does well at anything in life.“There will always be plaudits that come with it and whether that’s trophies, individual honours or links to elsewhere, we all understand that’s part of the life of a footballer and a football manager.“We just try to do our job on the pitch.“We focus on every game, and at a club this size you can’t look anywhere else. We have tunnel vision. I’m just trying to play a small role in the team and bring success to a club that demands and deserves success.“Everything else is outside my control.”"

Taylor is one of the players who has been most helped by the arrival of Postecoglou. In his first two seasons at Celtic, he was an inconsistent player who failed to nail down a spot in the starting XI.

Since the arrival of Postecoglou, Taylor has transformed into the best left-back in the Premiership. His consistency at the moment is admirable as he continues to deliver one solid performance after another and has kept summer signing Alexandro Bernabei out of the team.

Let’s see what the future holds for Postecoglou. But for the moment, the complete focus has to be on the upcoming Scottish Cup final, where the Australian will get the chance to do something very few Celtic managers have done before him, win a treble.
