Ange Postecoglou has done a remarkable job since arriving as the manager of Celtic in the summer of 2021. Back then, he was a relative unknown in the European game and after being linked with Eddie Howe for months, most fans were left disappointed with the appointment of the Australian.

It is funny how much things can change in a couple of years. Today, Postecoglou is viewed as a Celtic hero and the fans want him to stay at the club for as long as possible.

He led the club to a Premiership and League Cup double against all odds and expectations last season. And this time around, they are in the running for a treble.

It is no surprise that that kind of success has led to Postecoglou being linked with a number of Premier League clubs. And it looks like one are keeping an eye on him, as they search for a new manager.

As tweeted out by Fabrizio Romano, Postecoglou remains on Daniel Levy’s list. Tottenham Hotspur also seem to be interested in Arne Slot, Luis Enrique and Ruben Amorim.

Most of the recent rumours have suggested that Slot is the favourite to land the Tottenham Hotspur job. But nothing is over the line yet, and they seem to be keeping an eye on the situation of Postecoglou as well.

Now, it remains to be seen how things will play out over the coming weeks and months at the London club. All of the recent comments from Postecoglou have suggested that he is planning next season as the manager of Celtic.

Things can change very quickly in football, especially when clubs like Tottenham Hotspur. At the same time though, it has not been a good place for managers in recent years and Postecoglou should keep that in mind, even if an offer arrived this summer.
