Celtic have been pretty much unstoppable this season. They already have the Premiership and the League Cup in the bag. And they will taking on Inverness CT in the Scottish Cup final next month, with a treble up for grabs. Fans have been left worried though about some of their recent results though, as they have only won one of their last four games in the league.

Ange Postecoglou is not one to let the bad form of his team slide though. And he is not someone who likes to take any match for granted either, even though not much is riding on the result of the remaining two league games.

They have two more league games left to be played, against Aberdeen and Hibernian, before the Scottish Cup final. And one would be hoping that they get some positive results in those games, in order to build up some momentum, ahead of the match against Inverness CT.

Postecoglou seemed to have a warning for his Celtic players, not to look too forward. As reported by Perth Now, he said:

"“If they’re thinking about the cup final now, that’s a problem. Because when you start thinking too far ahead, you miss what’s happening now.“We can’t have players thinking about performing on that day. Perform today, perform Wednesday, perform next week and then focus on the cup final.“This group of players have been outstanding. But there is always this thing inside of me that I don’t want them to waste a moment of their career or a game.”"

Celtic are the heavy favourites going into the Scottish Cup final against Inverness CT, no matter what happens over their next two league games. At the same time though, one would hope that they are able to build some momentum going into the match.

It is also worth pointing out that Celtic are missing some key players at the moment. That has to be one of the reasons behind their downturn in form.

Cameron Carter-Vickers is out for the rest of the season. But there is hope that Alistair Johnston could be back in time to feature in the big game. Let’s see how things play out over the coming days and weeks.
