Rivals in contact to sign €8 million Celtic transfer target

Celtic have been very smart with their signings in recent times. Yes, there have been some which have not worked out, but overall, one cannot argue with the success that the club have enjoyed during the time of Ange Postecoglou as their manager. And one can only hope that they continue on this path.

Celtic have another Champions League campaign coming up next season. And European football has been a rare stumbling block for the Hoops, during the time of Postecoglou at Parkhead.

Surely they will be looking to improve in that regard. And it appears that the Hoops have a highly rated player in their sights to improve the squad.

As reported by Blick, there are many interested parties in Ardon Jashari. First and foremost Celtic and FC Porto. Recently, Serie A clubs Lazio and Atalanta have also joined.

Jashari is a very highly rated talent and it is believed that he could be on the move this summer for a transfer fee believed to be between €6 million and €8 million.

But unfortunately, it looks like the Hoops might be falling behind in the race to sign the youngster. As reported by Bola na Rede, in Jashari’s case, there are initial contacts with FC Porto. But there have been no major advances though.

Let’s see how things play out. It does appear though that Celtic will have a tough time, if they want to sign Jashari. There is plenty of interest in his signature.

Jashari is still just 20 years of age but the midfielder has already represented Switzerland at the international level and also captained FC Luzern. As a result, it is not hard to see why so many top clubs are interested in signing the youngster. Let’s just hope that Celtic come out on top though.
