Celtic are set to face the Rangers in the final Glasgow Derby of the season this weekend, away at Ibrox. The result will not have any impact on the title race, as the Hoops have already won the league. But this is the last chance for Michael Beale’s side to get a win against Ange Postecoglou’s team in the ongoing campaign. Till now, they have lost four times and drawn once.

Celtic have dominated the Glasgow Derby and Scottish football as a whole in recent times. And one would be hoping that they take their A-game to Ibrox at the weekend, even though nothing of substance is riding on the result for them.

It would be a matter of pride though to go an entire season undefeated against the Rangers. On the other hand, Beale’s side have been handed a double blow ahead of the Glasgow Derby.

It looks like both Ben Davies and Ryan Kent are set to miss out. As reported by Football Scotland, Beale said:

"“Ben misses out. Ryan has not returned to training as still has an issue.”"

It goes without saying that that is not ideal for the Rangers. They have struggled to get a result against Celtic throughout the season and now go into the final Glasgow Derby of the campaign without two of their regular starters.

Of course, Celtic cannot spend anytime focusing on what is going on at Ibrox. Their entire focus has to be on themselves and getting a result against the Rangers.

They do not go into the game in the best of circumstances because there is little pressure on them. They are already the champions of Scotland and the build up has felt very different. There have been no nerves at all. This is a very professional group of players though, who will know the importance of every Glasgow Derby in itself.
