Celtic have brought in some excellent players over the past two seasons. They have made a difference on the pitch as well, and the Hoops are on the verge of winning a treble this time around. That is impressive to say the least, when you consider the position this team was in when Ange Postecoglou arrived in the summer of 2021.

Of course, those performances have meant that clubs outside of Scotland have taken notice. And a number of Celtic’s players have been linked with moves away.

One such player is Liel Abada. The Israeli international has been important to this team but he has struggled for starts lately. He has mostly been playing the role of an impact substitute.

There does not seem to be any lack of interest in Abada though. He has been linked with Premier League teams, Ajax, Benfica and more. And while the Israeli international has played down the rumours recently, that does not mean that him leaving in the summer is completely off the table.

Celtic ready to accept £10 million transfer bid for player

As reported by Football Insider, Celtic are prepared to part ways with Abada this summer. It is understood that they will accept transfer bids of £10 million.

Abada is still just 21 years of age and a player with huge potential. But the fact of the matter is that he is a playing the role of a substitute at this point of time. And a £10 million offer might be too good to turn down for him.

Still, let’s see what the future holds. With another big season coming up for Celtic, which includes Champions League football, the best path would be to keep hold of their best players. And Abada has proven that he can make an impact, even when being mostly used as a substitute.
