Celtic have a stacked roster at this point of time. That has been one of the biggest reasons behind their recent successes. Having plenty of options has meant that they have been able to navigate through all the curveballs that the season as presented them. They are now looking to complete a treble, having already won the League Cup and the Premiership.

It must be pointed out that as a result of the stacked squad, there have been quite a few players, who have had to spend time out on loan this season. One such player is Liam Scales.

Scales was signed by Celtic from Shamrock Rovers. And while he made quite a few appearances last season, he was never able to establish himself as an important part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans.

As a result, it came as no surprise when he was sent out on loan to Aberdeen. And Scales has done a great job for the Dons, establishing himself as a nailed on starter for them. His recent goal against the Rangers would have caught Celtic fans’ eye for sure.

Thus, it is safe to say that Scales has done a good job while out on loan. But despite that, it looks like Celtic are open to the idea of him leaving.

As reported by Sky Sports, Celtic are open to offers for Scales, who has spent this season on loan at Aberdeen.

Considering the season that Scales has had, there should not be any lack of interest in his signature. But at the same time, despite his impressive form, it is hard to see him playing a key part in the Celtic team, if he remains at Parkhead. Thus, letting the Irishman leave might be the best step for all parties involved.
