Rangers hero admits he wants Celtic player to leave
Celtic have won their second straight league title but their season is not over yet. They have a Scottish Cup final coming up next month, where they will be taking on Inverness CT at Hampden Park. And if the Hoops can win that game, then that would secure them a treble. So it goes without saying that that is a very important match for the club.
Of course, one of the biggest reasons behind the club’s recent successes has been the form of Kyogo Furuhashi. The Japanese star has been absolutely superb since he was brought in in the summer of 2021 from Vissel Kobe.
Since then, he has established himself as one of the best players in Scottish football. And he has been scoring for fun this season.
He was on the scoresheet in the recent game against Hearts, in which the club secured the league title. It was Kyogo’s 30th goal of the season and his 50th goal for Celtic overall. Those are brilliant numbers to say the very least.
Rangers hero admits he wants Celtic player to leave
Alan Hutton has admitted that he would like to see Kyogo leave as a fan of the Ibrox club. As reported by Football Insider, the former Rangers player said:
"“As a Rangers fan I would like to see him go but I should imagine Celtic fans would like to see him stay. The grass isn’t always greener so I think he will still be happy where he is.“"
Of course, Celtic fans would want to see Kyogo remain at the club for as long as possible. Not only is he one of the club’s best players but he is a fan favourite as well, the likes of which we have not seen in a while.
At the same time, it is important to recognise that things can change very quickly in football. Celtic fans are used to seeing their best players leave. On the other hand, Premier League clubs are rumoured to be keeping an eye on the Japanese striker.
