While Celtic sealed the league title with a 2-0 win over Hearts at Tynecastle Park, things do not seem as rosy at Ibrox as they had during the first few months of Michael Beale’s run as the manager of the Rangers. The club have lost quite a few games in recent times and are guaranteed to finish the campaign trophyless following this weekend.

It is safe to say that Beale finds himself in a difficult position as a result. Giovanni van Bronckhorst was shown the exit door just months after winning the Scottish Cup and guiding the Rangers to the Europa League final.

On top of that, he was a former player for the club and had a good past record as a manager as well. Beale does not have any of that. As a result, one can imagine that the pressure will be on come next season.

One player who won’t be at Ibrox next season is Alfredo Morelos. And Beale did not sound happy with one of the Colombian’s recent contributions. As reported by the Daily Record, the Rangers manager said:

"“Morelos is moving on. I think you saw the difference in energy in the forward area when Morelos came on. And not in a positive way. We’ll need a focal point to the team, for sure.”"

Morelos looks set to be on his way out of Ibrox after a long run at the club. And at certain points, their fans seemed to be convinced that he was the best player in Scotland.

His recent contributions have been less than remarkable though as the Colombian has been nowhere near his best in recent years. And now, his time at Ibrox seems to be up, with his contract running out in the summer.

He is not the only player looking set to leave the Rangers either. Ryan Kent looks to be on the verge of an exit as well. And Celtic fans will be amused to see the duo leave as free agents. Even a couple of years ago, many Rangers fans felt they could each bring in transfer fees north of £15 million.
