It has not even been a week since the previous Glasgow Derby, a 1-0 win for Celtic over the Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final, thanks to a goal from Jota. But the next game between the two teams is not far away. They will meet at Ibrox a little over a week later, in their final meeting of the ongoing campaign.

The result of the game is not expected to have much of an effect on the title race though. Celtic just need one win from their last five league games to be crowned champions of Scotland again.

They face Hearts this weekend away at Tynecastle Park. So, it is possible that Celtic could take to the Ibrox pitch as the newly crowned Premiership champions. Of course, do not expect any guard of honour on the day.

At this point of time, the Rangers are almost certain to finish the campaign trophyless. The last Glasgow Derby of the season will be their final opportunity to get a win over Celtic. Till now, they have lost four and drawn one of their five meetings.

Things are not looking good for the Rangers on the injury front though. In fact, it has been confirmed that Malik Tillman’s season is over.

As reported by Sky Sports, Michael Beale said:

"“Unfortunately, that is the end of Malik’s season.“He has got a hamstring injury. He has gone back to Bayern for them to have a look at him as well.“He has had his scan. It is a hugely sad ending to the season for him because he is obviously a fine young player and he has performed well for the club so far this season.”"

Tillman was only on a season-long loan with the Rangers. The club are believed to have an option to buy for the Bayern Munich player though.

Of course, Celtic have their own injury problems at the moment. Cameron Carter-Vickers’ season is over. And Alistair Johnston is not expected to feature for a while either, having picked up a significant blow in the last Glasgow Derby. There is a possibility that he could be fit to take part in the Scottish Cup final though.
