Celtic have been completely dominant in the Glasgow Derby this season. They have gotten four wins over the Rangers and drawn the other one till now. There is one such fixture left in the ongoing campaign but the result of that is not expected to have any real impact on the Premiership title race.

As things stand, Celtic just need one win from their last five games in order to clinch a second straight league title under the management of Ange Postecoglou. A treble is very much possible as well.

Thanks to their 1-0 win over the Rangers at the weekend at Hampden Park, Celtic booked their place in the final of the Scottish Cup. There, they will be taking on Championship side, Inverness CT, next month.

Some Rangers players should take note of some of the comments that Greg Taylor made after the latest Glasgow Derby win. As reported by Glasgow Times, he told the media about the Ibrox club:

"“Rangers are a good opponent, let’s not be unfair. They’re difficult games, you’ve seen how close they’ve been. When it comes to these games they are so difficult but we’ve got the same mentality for every game and I think that does help.”"

Those comments are very different from some claims that have come out of the Ibrox camp in recent times, leading up to Glasgow Derbies. There has been no lack of hype or controversy and yet, none of it has led to a win for the Rangers this season till now.

As things stand, they seem destined to finish this campaign trophyless. And it just does feel like the gap between the two Glasgow sides continues to widen with every passing game. At this point, Celtic are the better team by some distance.

Of course, Celtic cannot make the mistake of resting on their laurels though. Things can change quickly. Their own rise under the management of Postecoglou is proof of that. Thus, the focus has to be on continuously getting better and staying ahead of the competition.
