Celtic find themselves in a great position right now. They appear to be on the verge of winning a treble, which will be their fifth in the last seven years if they can get it done. The Hoops are just one league win away from retaining the Premiership. On the other hand, they will be facing Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the final of the Scottish Cup. The League Cup is already in the bag.

Of course, not all clubs are enjoying success like Celtic. One team who find themselves in a bad position right now are Leeds United.

At this point of time, they sit at 17th in the Premier League table, only out of the relegation zone due to having a better goal difference than Nottingham Forest. With just four games to go in the season, they have appointed Sam Allardyce as manager in an attempt to avoid the drop. And it looks like he will be bringing in a Celtic hero with him to Elland Road.

As reported by The Scotsman, Robbie Keane is expected to join Allardyce’s backroom staff at Leeds United.

It is safe to say that Allardyce and his backroom staff have a big task at hand. Leeds United are already on their third manager of the season and have struggled throughout the campaign.

Keane, of course, spent a memorable loan spell at Celtic. The club had brought him in from Tottenham Hotspur and he proved himself to be a reliable source of goals. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored 16 goals in 19 appearances for the club.

Keane might have only spent a few months at Parkhead. But so impressive was his short run at the club that he was named as Celtic’s Fans’ Player of the Year.
