Celtic fans must feel on top of the world at the moment, with the club on the verge of a treble. They have already won the League Cup. The Hoops are also just one league win away from clinching their second straight Premiership title under the management of Ange Postecoglou. And with a win over the Rangers at the weekend, they booked their place in the Scottish Cup final.

It is safe to say that this is a great time to be a Celtic fan. And it looks like the good news just keeps coming for the Hoops.

As reported by the club’s official website, Celtic will be visiting Japan this summer for a pre-season tour. It will be a week-long visit, and more details are set to be announced in the coming days. The Hoops had visited the country back in 2006.

That is not all though. On a brilliant video posted on Twitter, the club announced that they will also travel to South Korea this summer on their pre-season tour.

It would be safe to say that the popularity of Celtic in Japan has increased drastically since the arrival of Postecoglou as manager. Not only does the Australian have his history in the J-League but the club have also signed a number of Japanese players over the past four transfer windows.

At this point of time, they have players like Kyogo, Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate, Yuki Kobayashi and Tomoki Iwata. Yosuke Ideguchi is also out on loan.

On the other hand, the club signed Oh Hyeon-gyu from Suwon Samsung Bluewings in January of this year. And the arrival of the striker has certainly boosted their popularity in South Korea as well. As a result, the upcoming pre-season tour should be a brilliant spectacle.
