Celtic find themselves in a terrific position right now. They won the double last season and are looking to win a treble this time around. They just need one more league win to clinch the Premiership title and are in the final of the Scottish Cup as well, following their win over the Rangers at Hampden Park at the weekend.

Things could get interesting for them in the summer though. With the success that they have enjoyed on the pitch over the past couple of years, it should come as no surprise that their players are being linked with moves away.

One player who has been heavily linked with a Parkhead exit is Liel Abada. The Israeli international is an important player for the Hoops but he is not a starter.

As reported by Celts Are Here, while speaking on Press Box with Graham Spiers, Stephen McGowan said about the situation of Abada:

"“They’ll have to replace Liel Abada, who’ll almost certainly go.”"

Abada has been key to this Celtic team’s success over the past couple of seasons. But he might not be playing the amount of football that he is looking for at this point.

Abada has found starts hard to come by this season, as Jota and Daizen Maeda have been the nailed on starters on the wings. And the duo showed their quality in the Scottish Cup semi-final, combining to score the winner against the Rangers.

Thus, it is hard to see Abada moving ahead of them in the pecking order anytime soon. And as a result, he has mostly been playing the role of an impact sub.

Abada is just 21 years of age and a supreme talent. Thus, there is no lack of interest in his signature. So, it is not hard to see why a summer exit might be on the cards.
